Children's Medical Center has 200 of the most skilled, dedicated pediatric specialists in the region, representing more than 30 specialties, all focused on providing infants, children and adolescents with the highest level of pediatric care close to home.

Our pediatric specialty and subspecialty clinics include:
- A Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) that uses innovation combined with compassion to treat the tiniest patients. In our relentless pursuit of healing, our NICU has earned a national reputation for its family-centered care philosophy where families are an important part of each child's team.
- Child Life Specialists that help infants, children, youth, and families cope with the stress and uncertainty of illness, injury, trauma, disability, loss, and bereavement. They provide appropriate interventions, including therapeutic play, preparation for procedures, and education to reduce fear, anxiety, and pain.
- Pediatric nephrologists that provide specialized care for children with kidney, bladder and urinary tract conditions.
- Pediatric gastroenterology and nutrition experts that provide inpatient and outpatient care for children with gastrointestinal problems and disorders of the digestive tract.
- Specialized orthopedic care that addresses pediatric issues affecting muscles, joints, bones or soft tissue. Our program is home to the most experienced pediatric orthopedic team in Central New England.
- Board-certified pediatric surgeons that have extensive training in the needs of growing bodies, including smaller anatomy and complex childhood conditions. We use the latest methods, including minimally invasive techniques that are gentler on young patients. Our depth of experience leads to precise care and excellent outcomes.
