We are providing the following:

- Oral Paxlovid (Nirmaltrevir and Ritonavir co-packaged)
- Oral Molnupiravir
UMass Memorial Health Referring Providers
You can refer your patients for treatment (oral Paxlovid, and oral Molnupiravir) in Epic by placing a referral order for Ambulatory Referral to COVID Treatment Center (previously Ambulatory Referral to Monoclonal Antibody Clinic) and entering:
- COVID diagnosis date
- Symptom onset date
- Vaccination status
- High-risk medical conditions (please add under the additional order details tab)
- Height
- Weight
- For patients with a history of chronic renal insufficiency, a metabolic panel result from the past six months is necessary.
PCPs are also requested to update the patient’s medication list in Epic to screen for potential drug-drug interactions with PaxlovidTM.
External Referring Providers
You can refer patients in Epic by contacting the Physician Concierge Services (PCS) at 800-431-5151 and ask for a referral to the COVID Treatment Center. The PCS staff will request the following information for treatment patients:
- COVID diagnosis date
- Symptom onset date
- Vaccination status
- Patient’s reconciled medication list
- Pregnancy test (if applicable)
- Height
- Weight
Please also fax (508-334-1486; 508-334-8317; 508-334-7616) or email PCS the most recent metabolic panel (if available), pregnancy test (if applicable), and patient’s reconciled medication list.
For patients with a history of chronic renal insufficiency, a metabolic panel result from the past six months is necessary to identify the best treatment option. We also have point of care eGFR and pregnancy tests available on-site for patients who do not have access to lab or a primary care provider.
Clinicians in the treatment center will assess patients and order the most appropriate treatment (either the intravenous or the oral agents) based on the available supplies and prioritization guidelines.
