Friends of Harrington: Focused on Brain Health
On Thursday, October 8 we will welcome David Bates, PhD – co-founder and CEO of Linus Health. David is a scientist, engineer, inventor, entrepreneur and investor.
In 2018, Linus Health co-founders David Bates, PhD, and Alvaro Pascual-Leone, MD, PhD, connected over a shared vision: transforming brain health through earlier detection of cognitive disorders and more personalized interventions. They founded Linus Health in 2019, building on pioneering work to modernize the Clock Drawing Test into today’s comprehensive digital cognitive health platform.
For more than a year, UMass Memorial Health – Harrington has partnered with David’s team at Linus Health, with support from the Davos Alzheimer’s Collaborative, to screen patients for early cognitive disorders and develop personalized treatment plans based on the results.
Join us to learn more about this innovative work and how we’re helping change the way cognitive health is detected and treated.
