Medicare Advantage Plans (Part C) Accepted

Along with Original Medicare, UMass Memorial Health accepts the following Medicare Advantage plans. Keep in mind that this list is subject to change. Before scheduling an appointment or seeking treatment, please contact your health plan to verify whether the physicians and hospitals are participating in your specific health plan network.

In addition, if you have Medicare Advantage coverage through your current or former employer, you may want to refer to your health plan materials regarding your benefits before making any change.

2026 Medicare Advantage Plans

At this time, UMass Memorial Health primary care physicians (PCPs) will only accept primary care patients enrolled in Original Medicare or one of the following Medicare Advantage Plans for the 2026 plan year:

• Mass Advantage - HMO and PPO options provided by a local Medicare Advantage plan owned by UMass Memorial Health and created with input from our providers
• Aetna Medicare
• Blue Cross Blue Shield Medicare HMO and PPO Blue
• Fallon Medicare Plus (for existing Fallon Medicare Plus patients only thru 12/31/25)

At this time, the hospitals of UMass Memorial Health and UMass Memorial Medical Group specialty care physicians will participate in the following Medicare Advantage products for the 2026 plan year: 

• Mass Advantage
• Aetna Medicare
• Blue Cross Blue Shield Medicare HMO and PPO Blue
• Care Partners of Connecticut HMO and PPO
• Commonwealth Care Alliance (CCA) Medicare PPO*
• eternalHealth*
• Fallon Medicare Plus (does not include Fallon Medicare Plus Central)*
• Mass General Brigham Medicare Advantage HMO-POS and PPO*
• Tufts Medicare Preferred*
• UnitedHealthcare/AARP Individual and Group Medicare Advantage Plans*

Agents are available to help you free of charge Monday to Friday during the following hours:

• August 18 to September 30, 8 am to 5 pm
• October 1 to December 31, 8 am to 8 pm
• January 1, 2026 to September 30, 2026, 8 am to 5 pm
