Michele Streeter is the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of UMass Memorial Medical Group. Michele also serves as Senior Vice President for Clinical Strategies for the health care system. She is a Certified Public Accountant with several years of experience in public accounting and health care finance.
Michele began her career at UMass Memorial in 1992 with Memorial Hospital as an accounting supervisor and later as Director of Finance for Memorial Medical Group — eventually serving as Director of Finance for UMass Memorial Medical Group when Memorial and UMass Hospital merged. In January 2003, she was appointed Chief Financial Officer and later transitioned from finance to operations as the Executive Director in 2008. In 2013 Michele was named Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for the Medical Group, responsible for execution of the health care system’s strategic priorities and operating plans as they relate to the Medical Group as well as the strategic partnerships of UMass Memorial Health .

Michele graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Merrimack College. At age 37, she was recognized by the Worcester Business Journal as an individual who has achieved significant professional success before the age of 40.
