Pregnancy and motherhood can be overwhelming for all women. If you’re expecting a child or are a new mom who is dealing with opioid addiction, you can turn to UMass Memorial for help. Like all mothers, women dealing with an opiate-use disorder want to give their babies the best possible start in life. To help you achieve that goal, our team offers specialized obstetric care and resources for mothers who are in or seeking recovery from opiate-use disorder and need support.
The Karen W. Green Clinic for Pregnancy and Recovery at UMass Memorial Medical Center helps monitor and manage the care of substance-dependent or substance-using women throughout pregnancy and the postpartum period. Our board-certified Ob/Gyn provides pre- and postnatal care to help ensure the health of you and your baby in a supportive and non-judgmental environment. We will partner with you to individualize and optimize your care to meet both your reproductive and recovery goals.
