Price Estimator Tool

At UMass Memorial Health, we understand health care costs are important to you which is why we are pleased to offer a tool to provide price estimates for prospective patients.  While not required, the more information you can provide about your insurance and the procedure you are planning, the more accurate the estimate will be. 

Please note, an estimate is not a guarantee of the final amount due. The estimate we provide is based on the insurance plan you identified, the location of the services, and the specific items or services you identified. While we make every effort to ensure the accuracy of our estimates, the final bill and services may differ from what is listed. 

There may be additional services that our facility recommends as part of the course of care for your condition.  These services are not included in this estimate and will need to be requested separately and will receive their own estimate when scheduled.  Services provided and billed by non-UMass Memorial Health clinicians are not included.

This estimate is not a contract.  You may seek these services elsewhere from other facilities or providers not listed in this estimate.

As a patient you have the right to initiate the patient-provider dispute resolution process if the bill is substantially in excess of the expected charges of this estimate.  For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate or the dispute process, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises (See link for Payment disagreements under the Consumer protections section) or call 877-696-6775.  Opening a dispute will not adversely affect the quality of health care services furnished by our providers or facility.

Availability of Financial Assistance

UMass Memorial provides several options to reduce out-of-pocket costs to patients with demonstrated financial need. Save 20% with our Prompt Pay Discount Program

You may be eligible for our Prompt Pay Discount Program for balances paid:

• before time of service 
• at time of service 
• within the first billing cycle for new charges

If you qualify for a prompt pay discount, it will be shown on your MyChart account summary, the Pay as Guest portal, and your billing statement. Please note that if you set up a payment plan, you will not be eligible for the prompt pay discount.

Right to Receive a Good Faith Estimate
