Cancer Research and Trials

UMass Memorial Medical Center is at the forefront of some of the nation’s most promising research and treatment programs. Our partnership with UMass Chan Medical School has allowed us to:

  • Research new treatments for cancer
  • Better understand cancer
  • Improve cancer prevention methods
  • Improve early detection and therapies

Clinical cancer research trials are ongoing and change regularly. If you’re interested in taking part, talk with your doctor. The Cancer Research Office can also talk to you about trials that may open in the near future.
