Vasculitis refers to inflammation of blood vessels. There are many different types of vasculitis that are categorized based upon the size of the blood vessels which are involved. Patients with vasculitis typically have symptoms, such as fever, chills, nausea and weight loss, in addition to specific symptoms related to the location of the involved blood vessels.
There are many forms of vasculitis, each of which usually can be treated successfully.
