UMass Memorial Excellence in Cardiac Intensive Care
Comprehensive Care
UMass Memorial offers all the critical care services and support you need. Your personalized care plan may include additional services from physician assistants, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, occupational therapists and dietitians. Social workers and pastoral care personnel provide assistance that helps make your stay a little less stressful.
Exceptional Cardiac Care
Cardiac ICU services are part of our nationally recognized heart and vascular care program. Highly skilled heart specialists deliver the latest therapies and maintain excellent outcomes — even for rare and severe heart issues. After your stay, we continue caring for you with outpatient monitoring and helpful services like cardiac rehabilitation.
Extra Layer of Safety
UMass Memorial uses innovative technology to provide attentive monitoring even when we’re not at your bedside. Our ICU telemedicine (eICU) system provides extra oversight from off-site critical care providers. The team alerts us to subtle changes that may indicate the need for additional therapies, enabling us to act quickly.
