Heart Failure Expertise

Our Heart Failure Program offers comprehensive care for all stages of heart failure. Treatments include implantable devices (pacemakers and defibrillators), cardiac resynchronization therapy, Cardiomems (allows at-home heart failure monitoring)and surgery. We also participate in heart failure clinical trials to bring the newest therapies to our patients. 

Pre- and Post-Transplant Support

Cardiologists with training in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology carefully select the right candidates for heart transplantation. We make all necessary referrals for transplant and offer ongoing care and support before and after heart transplant surgery. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Emergency Cardiac Care

Our emergency department staff is trained in LVAD management. They understand the unique needs of people who have mechanical circulatory support devices, as well as how to spot and handle LVAD-related complications. Learn more about emergency cardiac care.
