Advanced Services and Treatments for Kidney Disease
At your first visit, our kidney specialists review your health history, symptoms and concerns. Together, we develop a care plan to keep you feeling your best. It may include:
- Dialysis: We provide several types of dialysis, including home dialysis and hemodialysis. The process cleans your blood when your kidneys aren’t working their best.
- Kidney biopsy: Your care team may recommend a kidney biopsy if they need to examine tissue under a microscope to confirm a diagnosis.
- Kidney transplant: People with advanced kidney disease who aren’t responding to other treatments may need surgery to replace a diseased kidney with a healthy one. Learn more about our kidney transplant services.
- Lifestyle changes: Diet changes, exercise and quitting smoking can help maintain your kidney function and improve high blood pressure.
- Medication: We may recommend medication to lower your blood pressure and keep your kidneys working well.
