Mitchell Sokoloff, MD, FACS

Chair of the Department of Urology

Dr. Sokoloff is the inaugural Professor and Chair of the Department of Urology at UMass Memorial Medical Center and UMass Chan Medical School. During his distinguished career as a surgeon-scientist, he has made seminal contributions to the field of urology in basic research, translational clinical trials, technological innovation and outreach. Dr. Sokoloff is also a national leader in addressing the social and political determinants of health, especially as they relate to education about and access to care for men with prostate cancer.
