Mental Health Care in Central Massachusetts

Mental health is more common to talk about than it once was, and with good reason. Mental health is just as important as physical health when it comes to your overall well-being. But in any given year, 1 in every 4 adults will experience a mental health condition. In fact, more than 1 in 5 U.S. adults live with a mental illness.  

The Department of Mental Health at UMass Memorial Health – Harrington offers mental health therapy, counseling and medication management treatment plans for all ages.

The Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Humans Services designated UMass Memorial Health – Community Healthlink to operate two of the commonwealth’s twenty-five Community Behavioral Health Centers (CBHC), which increases access to care in a timely fashion for those in behavioral health crisis. Learn more about CBHC.
