Mindfulness Programs
Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) is a program designed for individuals with depression, anxiety and other mood disorders. Evidence-based research demonstrates the efficacy of MBCT for the prevention of depressive relapse/recurrence. MBCT integrates mindfulness practice with cognitive therapy techniques to help break cycles of recurring mental health challenges and foster emotional resilience. This program is most beneficial for those who:
- Experience recurrent depression, including those seeking to prevent relapse.
- Have been advised to remain on antidepressant medication to prevent a recurrence, but are looking for a complementary or alternative approach to managing their mental health.
- Want to develop healthier responses to negative thoughts and emotions through mindfulness and cognitive techniques.
This is not a course for those interested in learning about MBCT for professional development. This program focuses on personal growth and healing rather than training professionals in the application of MBCT.
Individuals often question what the differences are between MBSR and MBSR and what program best meets their needs. This is very specific to a person’s situation and we are happy to help you make that decision.
