Trypsin/Chymotrypsin (Stool)

This test looks for two enzymes from the pancreas, to find out how well the pancreas is working. This test is used for people with cystic fibrosis.

Triglycerides

This test measures the amount of triglycerides in your blood. This test is part of a group of cholesterol and blood fat tests called a fasting lipoprotein panel, or lipid panel.

Tricyclic Antidepressant Screen

This test is used to check a sample of blood or urine for tricyclic antidepressants. Although these medicines can be helpful in normal doses, taking too much can be fatal.

Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone

This test measures your level of TSH, a hormone made by your pituitary gland. You may need this test if you have symptoms of thyroid problems.

Thyroid Antibody

This test measures the amount of thyroid antibodies in your blood. The test can help find out whether you have a problem with your thyroid.

Theophylline

This test measures the level of the medicine theophylline in your blood. Having too much of this medicine in your body can be life-threatening.

Total Testosterone

This test measures the level of testosterone in your blood. Both men and women make this hormone.

Free Testosterone

This test measures both your total and free testosterone levels. Having levels that are too high or too low can cause health problems.

TB Culture

This test screens for tuberculosis by looking for the bacteria in the sputum, urine, or cerebrospinal fluid.
